Frequently Asked Questions About Office Visits
What if I cannot travel to your office to meet with you for a free consultation?
I represent clients throughout Illinois and can speak to you over the phone for your free consultation. There is no need to travel at all to my office located in Oak Brook, IL. However, you are more than welcome to schedule an in-person meeting to discuss your case.
If I live too far away to visit your office, how do you see the required documents and gather enough information to take my case?
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation's (IDFPR) system is now electronic and so is my office. We can communicate at any time over the telephone, email, and/or fax.
If I cannot visit your office how will you receive paperwork that I get from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)?
Once you retain my services as your attorney, I will be listed as the attorney on your case. The IDFPR copies my office on any documentation that is sent to you. I will receive the same letters you receive from the IDFPR.
If I cannot get to your office will we ever meet in person before my hearing with the judge?
Yes. Before your court hearing, I will thoroughly prepare you over the phone. On the day of the court hearing we will meet in person at court and you can ask me any additional questions you may have. In Illinois there are two IDFPR courthouses, one in Springfield and one in Chicago. I will attend the city where your court hearing is scheduled.
