Barry Jasilli

Barry Jasilli is a registered pharmacist and an attorney. Barry received his pharmacy degree from Fordham University in New York and his law degree from St. John’s University also located in New York. Barry has worked as an executive administrator and legal counsel for Jacobi Hospital in New York and Landmark Medical Center in Rhode Island. Subsequent to Barry’s hospital experience, he acted as senior legal counsel for CVS Health, one of the largest Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) in the country. In this senor legal counsel role Barry analyzed and operationalized various state and federal regulations. He also represented physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health care providers before a number of state and federal healthcare agencies.

- Defended pharmacies/pharmacists/nurses/physicians and other health care providers before State Boards and federal agencies like the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
- Provided consultation to clients seeking various accreditations like VAWD or DMEPOS
- Represented various healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians, pharmacists) and healthcare entities (pharmacies, wholesalers) seeking licensure/accreditation before state/federal or accreditation agencies.
- Assisted healthcare professionals negotiate contracts with, prepare for and respond to payer/provider audits
- Provide regulatory support for retail, mail and specialty pharmacies. Interact with a variety of state and federal regulatory agencies such as Boards of Pharmacy, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as well as commercial pharmacy network providers, Pharmacy Benefit Administrators, wholesalers etc.
